SHOTS FIRED - Oakland + Locust
Roughly a block radius around the intersection of N Oakland Avenue and E Locust Street was cordoned off as a crime scene Saturday night; January 4, 2025.
At approximately 8:16 PM, on January 4, 2025, USFiR posted to their Facebook Page:
“Milwaukee WI - Oakland/Locust - Adult female 20s, shot once in the arm and a graze wound to the back. Patient is conscious.”
At approximately 7:30 PM, on January 4, 2025, a Reddit User posted to the Milwaukee Subreddit:
“I just heard about 20 gunshots going down Oakland near Oakland and Locust. Cops are al over the area.”
A Milwaukee Police Squad on E Locust Street at N Cramer Street blocking any westbound traffic.

Fugitive Arrest - 1650 N Farwell Ave, Milwaukee, WI
At approximately 12:04 PM, I arrived at the intersection of E Brady Street and N Farwell Avenue. A fugitive arrest was in progress outside of the CVS at 1650 N Farwell Ave, Milwaukee, WI. The Milwaukee Police Department and members of the U.S. Marshall Fugitive Task Force made the arrest.
The CVS remained open for business throughout the arrest and I observed a handful of individuals exit and enter the business.
N Farwell Avenue was blocked temporarily as the suspect was placed into a squad car.
